Garman-Vik har gjort tradisjon av å gi sine mest avanserte elever utfordrende og tankevekkende prosjekter, og det gjorde han også dette året. Ti studenter fikk i oppgave å male sine uttrykk av å lytte til musikken "Symphony Fantastique" av Hector Berlioz.

Dette resulterte i en svært vellykket utstilling i Tereses kunstsalong i Oslo 9. - 10. oktober 2004. Det er interessant å se hvor variert maleriene under ble, og hvordan studentene har blitt inspirert i vidt forskjellige retninger.

Denne begivenheten ble avrundet ved at gruppen overvar en fantastisk konsert i Oslo konserthus hvor de hørte Oslo filharmoniske orkester spille nettopp "Symphonie Fantastique", og deretter koste seg med middag på Theatercaféen.

It has been the custom of Garman-Vik to give his more advanced students challenging and thought-provoking projects and this year was no exception. Ten students were given the task of painting their impressions of the music "Symphonie Fantastique" composed by Hector Berlioz.

This resulted in an extremely successful exhibition, which was held at Terese's Kunstsalong in Oslo 9 th -10 th October. It is interesting to see below the diversity of the paintings, in that the students have been inspired and have taken distinctly different directions.

This event was rounded off by the group attending a fabulous concert at the Oslo Concert House to listen to the Oslo Philamonic Orchestra playing "Symphonie Fantastique", and then on to wine and dine at the Theatrecafeen.
